Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 cups frozen mixed veggies
  • 2  10.5 oz cans cream of chicken
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 Tb baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, cold and sliced
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions

Step 1: Place chicken, veggies, and seasonings in crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hours.

Step 2: For biscuits combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add butter. Use pastry blender until cornmeal texture is achieved. Stir in milk until dough is formed. Knead on floured surface 10 times. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with 2 inch circle cutter (or drinking glass). Bake 425 for 15 minutes or until golden. Serve with chicken mixture.

Option: Use Bisquick if you don’t want to make biscuits from scratch.
